This blog is just about that, too. I'm an extremely busy mom of four great kids, married to one very busy, but wonderful man. But this blog is NOT about kids or marriage or my husband's work...

It's about me and my passion for refurbishing and giving old things in our home new purpose. It's about decorating on a dime and throwing a great party for cheap. It's about that great crock pot recipe that feeds us for 3 different meals and only cost me a few bucks to throw together. To me, that is the sweet life; being able to do things for me and my family that look great, taste great and fit into my budget.

This blog is also about you, my fellow Do It Yourselfer/crafter/on a budget/mom. Or maybe you're not a mom, but love doing things by yourself, for yourself and on budget. This place is for you too!
